BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Sophomore forward Tiana Campbell has been named the Mountain East Conference Offensive Player of the Year, leading six Mountain Lions on the All-MEC Teams that were announced Friday morning by the conference office.

Campbell was joined on the All-MEC First Team by sophomore defender Ella Rowell. All-MEC Second Team performers included freshman midfielder Mia Cook and sophomore midfielder Marika Svensson. Cook added a nod to the All-MEC Freshman Team to her credentials. Freshman defender Molly Watters and senior forward Caitlin Webster were All-MEC Honorable Mention.

Campbell, a native of Plymouth, England, becomes Concord's fourth MEC Offensive Player of the Year since 2019, joining Leah Foster (2019), Yasmin Mosby (Spring 2021, 2021) and Sydney Tucker (2024). Campbell led the conference in goals during the regular season with 12. Eight of the 12 goals for Campbell came in the form of braces as she recorded four two-goal games: vs. West Virginia Wesleyan (Sept. 13), vs. Fairmont State (Oct. 1), at Frostburg State (Oct. 11) and vs. West Liberty (Oct. 18). Her 28 points were also an MEC best during the 18-game regular season. Campbell added four assists, including her first career two-assist game against Davis & Elkins October 29. She saved her best performances for the end of the season as nine of her 12 goals came during the months of October and November.

Rowell had a breakout season in her second year in the Maroon and Gray. The Durham, England native netted one goal and a career-high five assists which was tied for third in the conference. From her right back position on the pitch, Rowell helped the Mountain Lions to eight shutouts—second most in the MEC—during the regular season. She had a three-point game at Salem that included her first career goal. Over the last two seasons, Rowell is just one of two Concord players to start in every game. One of Rowell's five assists came against MEC North Champion Fairmont State.

The statistical line for Cook doesn't tell the impact of her success for CU. The Newcastle, Australia native was inserted into the starting lineup from game one in the defensive midfield. She aided in the Mountain Lions tallying eight shutouts. Cook's only goal of the season was an important one in a 1-0 win over Wheeling October 8. She helped control the game in the midfield by only allowing opponents to average 3.6 shots on goal during the regular season.

Svensson battled injuries throughout her sophomore campaign to earn All-MEC Second Team after landing on the All-MEC First Team as a freshman. The Jaegerspris, Denmark native played in 14 games with 13 starts. She had four goals and two assists from her central midfield spot. Svensson had Concord's only hat trick of the season with three goals at Salem. Her first goal of the campaign came September 17 versus Glenville State. She added assists versus Salem and West Liberty. Like Cook, Svensson played a pivotal role in CU outscoring teams 33-16 in 16 conference games.

Watters, a native of Birmingham, England, rotated between the midfield and backline before finding a home during the stretch run of the regular season at left back. Watters started in 17 games as she recorded two goals and two assists. She had back-to-back assists versus Gannon (Sept. 6) and West Virginia Wesleyan. Her goals came at Salem and against West Liberty at Callaghan Stadium.

The MEC leader in assists, Webster, picks up All-MEC honors for the second straight season. Webster notched eight assists and added three goals. During the middle of October, Webster had a streak of recording at least one assist in four consecutive games: at Frostburg State, at Point Park, vs. West Liberty and vs. Charleston. She started the conference season with a brace against Glenville State and threw in a goal at Salem. The Sydney, Australia native starts the conference tournament ranked top 10 in program history in assists (17).

Joining Campbell as major MEC Award Winners were Fairmont State's Filippa Stalhammar (Defensive Player of the Year), Point Park's Rebecca Pihlgren (Freshman of the Year) and Fairmont State's Kernell Borneo (Coach of the Year).

The Mountain Lions begin MEC Tournament play at home 1:00 p.m. Sunday versus Point Park.
