MAKING A SPLASH
Sophomore guard
Alexis Frazee had a breakout game against Glenville State Saturday, scoring a new career-high of 26 points off the bench. From the floor, Frazee shot 10-for-13 (76.9 percent) and 4-of-7 (57.1 percent) from three, tying the most in a game for a Mountain Lion this winter. In her six games played for CU this season, Frazee sports a 50 percent field goal percentage while knocking down seven total three-point baskets and averaging 16.4 minutes per game. Her 29 minutes on the floor against the Pioneers was also a season-high. The Little Hocking, Ohio native raised her season average to 7.2 points per game after only averaging 3.4 points per game before Saturday.

ON THE RADAR
After picking up nine assists and four steals against GSU Saturday, senior guard
Skylar Davidson is nearing the Concord record book in a few categories. The Mullens, W.Va. native is approaching the top 10 marks in both career steals and assists, as well as assists per game average. In 39 games played in the Maroon and Gray, Davidson has totaled 189 assists, 56 shy of Jennifer Pollinger (1999-1004) and Shari Walker (2004-07) who both compiled 245 assists to tie for ninth all-time. Davidson has also swiped away 126 steals, just 22 steals away from passing Jolysa Brown (2008-12) and Olivia Morgan (2013-17) for the 10
th most steals in program history at 148. Additionally, if she reaches 50 games played for Concord, she is eligible to be placed within the top 10 in school history in assists per game, as she is averaging 4.8 (currently third) for her CU career.

GOING FOR THREE
For the first time since the 2019-20 season, CU has won back-to-back meetings against Fairmont State. It started last season when the Mountain Lions knocked of then 19
th-rated FSU 84-66 in the Carter Center and began the 2024-25 season series with a 92-69 home win over the Fighting Falcons. In the win on December 15, Concord had five players in double figures led by junior forward
Abbie Smith with 21 points. Senior guard
Sanaiya Morris (17), Davidson (14), junior forward
Imani Hickman (11), and junior guard
Kennedy Scales (10) also pitched in at least 10 points to fuel the 23-point victory. Also, the Maroon and Gray posted a season best 48.5 shooting percentage against FSU, who owns the MEC's second-lowest field goal defense (38.3 percent).

SIMILAR STYLES
Leading up to Wednesday's showdown with league-leading Fairmont State, CU has faced two of the conference's top defenses back-to-back before taking on the Fighting Falcons. FSU has the MEC's best scoring defense, only allowing opponents to score 63.3 points per game. Additionally, Fairmont State is forcing 22.4 opponent turnovers per game, the third-most in the conference. Last Wednesday, CU faced the MEC's best field goal defense (37.9 percent) in Charleston and the league's best turnover defense (30.9 per game) in Glenville State Saturday. In the first meting against Concord and FSU this winter, the Mountain Lions forced more turnovers than the Fighting Falcons (20-17) and held FSU to 39.2 percent from the field.

TOP OF THE LEAGUE
While scoring the second-most points per game in the MEC this season (78.3), Fairmont State has three players that ranks inside the top 10 in the conference in scoring. Graduate guard Alyssa DeAngelo (16.0) and junior guard Leslie Huffman (15.9) rank fourth and fifth in points per game, respectively. Additionally, graduate forward Jalen Gibbs is tied for 10
th in the conference, netting 14.0 points per game. Gibbs (56.7) and CU's Smith (53.9) both rank first and second in the league in field goal percentage, respectively, and both shot over 50 percent in the Carter Center in December. FSU also swats the most blocks per game (3.9) in the conference, with Gibbs ranking 16
th in Division II averaging 2.2 blocks per game.

Five FSU players scored in double figures against Concord in the Carter Center, with senior guard/forward Aaliyah Brunny (16) and sophomore guard/forward Leila Jones (13) providing 29 of Fairmont's 31 bench points.
