Tolbert started the week by pouring in 41 points, on 15-for-21 shooting, to go with eight rebounds versus Charleston. Included in Tolbert's performance was a 7-of-10 showing from three-point distance which was a season high in three-point makes for any Mountain Lion this winter.

At Glenville State, Tolbert nearly tallied his first double-double of the season as he netted 19 points to go with nine and six assists. He was 5-of-10 from the floor and 7-of-9 at the foul line in Concord's 92-85 victory.

Monday's announcement was the second time this season that Tolbert has been selected the MEC Player of the Week—he earned the award in late November after a 58-point game at Charleston. Additionally, it was the second consecutive week that Concord took MEC Player of the Week after senior guard Corey Boston earned league honors last Monday.
