BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Concord University men's golf team has been selected to finish seventh in the 2024 Mountain East Conference Preseason Poll, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.

2024 SCHEDULE
The Maroon and Gray open up the fall schedule at Edgewood Country Club for the Charleston Fall Invite on September 9-10. On September 16-17, the Mountain Lions head to the Raven Golf Club for the Dr. Wally Edgell Invite hosted by Davis & Elkins. The next event for CU comes at Hannahstown Golf Club in Greensburg, Pa. for the West Liberty Fall Invite September 23-24. The month of September is concluded with the Bluefield State Invite at Fincastle Country Club on September 30 and October 1. The fall slate rounds out with the MEC Championship held at The Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, W.Va. Â Â

THE RETURNERS
Three seniors, one junior, and one sophomore headline the returners for CU in 2024-25. Senior
Indiana Eades had the lowest scoring average among returners last year at 77.2. He recorded his career-low of 69 last fall at the Charleston Fall Invite. Senior
Peyton Watts played in all nine events last season and posted his career-best scoring average of 81.4. Senior
Jacob Chittaphong played nine rounds across five tournaments last season and shot a career-best 80 in the first round of the MEC Spring Classic. Sophomore
Millan Ignacio Lanhozo competed in the final event of the spring season, posting rounds of 83 and 84. Junior
Ayden Ince did not see action in 2023-24.

THE NEWCOMERS
Former CU golfer and first-year head coach
Carson Proffitt added four freshmen to round out the roster. The newcomers include
