NEW ORLEANS – For the second straight week, the Concord University men's cross country team was polled fourth in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) Atlantic Regional Poll.
The top four of Charleston, Davis & Elkins, Shippensburg and Concord held steady from last week's rankings. East Stroudsburg was ranked fifth after not being in the poll at any point this season. Slippery Rock held its spot of sixth. West Virginia Wesleyan climbed two spots to seventh while Indiana (Pa.) dropped three spots to eighth, and Kutztown and Lock Haven each fell a pair of spots to ninth and tenth, respectively.
CU is coming off a second-place finish at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invite in which it defeated Division I East Tennessee State.
Concord is off this weekend and will next compete October 5 at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
