ATHENS, W.Va. – Former Concord University men's basketball players Jaguar Jackson and Jevon Laidler have both signed contracts in Division I or the second tier of the National Basketball League in Great Britain.

Jackson's club Milton Keynes (MK) Breakers announced his signing in late August while Laidler's signing with the Bradford Dragons became official earlier this week.

Jackson played in 30 career games over three seasons from 2021-23 at Concord. The Fort Wayne, Indiana native helped the Mountain Lions to 38 wins in his three seasons in Athens. Laidler finished up his college career this past spring. He appeared in 89 career games with 70 starts. Laidler averaged 10.3 points per game from 2021-2024 while shooting 46.8 percent from the field and averaging 5.4 rebounds per contest.

MK Breakers won the 2023-24 NBL Division II title to get promoted to Division I of the NBL. Meanwhile, Bradford was 11-13 in Division I of the NBL last season.

Jackson and Laidler will match up against each other twice this season, October 12 and March 29.

The duo also join former teammate Daniel Rahama as Mountain Lions playing overseas. Rahama is continuing his professional career in Portugal for a second season this year.
