ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord Univesity head men's basketball coach
Todd May continues to add to the 2024 recruiting class the program announced the signing of Jordan Reed Friday afternoon.
Name: Jordan Reed
Hometown: Woodbridge, Va.
Previous School: Massanutten Military Academy
Position: Forward
Height: 6-6
Reed played his high school ball in northern Virginia as he finished up at Bethel Academy before transitioning to Massanutten for a year of prep school. There, he averaged 8.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 45.7 percent from the floor, 41.2 percent from three-point distance and 73.5 percent at the foul line.
"Jordan Reed is a skilled forward at 6-foot-6 that will give us some depth at the (four) position," head coach
Todd May said. "He used his prep year to develop his game and get stronger. He can really shoot the ball—shooting 41 percent from three last year. He fits our culture and we are excited to add him to our program."
With Reed's pledge to the Mountain Lions, this year's recruiting class grows to four players. Reed will join Kraig Gilbert, Josiah Rickards and Ken Sallee as the new faces in Athens this winter.
