Complete Schedule

ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer program and head coach Alex Smith have released the program's schedule for the upcoming fall season.

For the first time since 2019, the Mountain Lions will play all their home games on campus at Callaghan Stadium.

Concord is slated for 18 games with 14 of those contests being against Mountain East Conference foes. Four games will be non-conference contests. CU will play seven other schools in home-and-way games to make up the league competition.

The Maroon and Gray is coming off a season where it went 8-5-7 and advanced to the MEC Tournament Semifinals.

The first home game will have to wait two games into the season as Concord opens the 2024 season at MEC newcomer Point Park, September 8. CU christens their new home turf September 11 in an MEC tilt with West Liberty.

Concord will have back-to-back road games against Davis & Elkins (September 15) and West Virginia Wesleyan (September 18). The season's first month closes with two games at home versus Wheeling (September 22) and Frostburg State (September 29). A road trip to Charleston (September 25) is also sandwiched in the home games.

October opens with consecutive non-conference games at Shaw (October 2) and versus Salem (October 6). Back-to-back road games at Wheeling and Frostburg State are followed by two straight home games in Athens against Point Park (October 16) and West Virginia Wesleyan (October 20).

As the season hits the home stretch, marquee matchups against fellow MEC Tournament-qualifiers from 2023 in West Liberty (October 23) and Davis & Elkins (October 27) dot the schedule. The final two non-conference games will be at Emory & Henry (October 30) and Salem (November 3).

The regular season comes to a close against perennial national title contender Charleston November 6.
