NEW ORLEANS – Junior
Logan Zuchelli of the Concord University men's track & field team has earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) All-Atlantic Region.
Zuchelli picks up the accolade after recording the fourth-fastest time in the Atlantic Region in the 5,000-meter run at Raleigh Relays in late March. The Fairmont, West Virginia native clocked a time of 14:36.86, which was the second-fastest time in the Mountain East Conference this spring.
To earn all-region, athletes must be ranked in the top five of their respective events at the end of the regular season.
Earlier in the year, Zuchelli picked all-region indoor honors for his work in the 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter runs.
