ATHENS, W.Va. – Over the last few years at the conclusion of the academic year, the Concord University Sports Information Department takes a look back at each sport's program success in the recently completed season in an "Inside the Numbers" series.

The annual series kicks off Monday with a look back at 2023 Concord volleyball.

0.40- Aces per set for setter Declyn Tooze, ranking seventh in the Mountain East Conference.

0.56- Aces per set for setter Paige Richmond, placing her third in the MEC last fall as well as top 15 in Division II.

4- Concord won its first four matches of the season, the best start for the Maroon and Gray since the 2003 campaign.

16- Total wins for Concord on the season which were the most since the 2016 squad racked up 18 victories.

22- Combined double-doubles for outside hitter Chloe Thompson (11) and outside hitter Meg Williams (11)

25- Kills for Williams in a five-set win over King in September—tying the program record set by Amber Miller in 2010 and also matching the most kills in an MEC match in 2023.

401- Season kills for Williams which was only the third time in program history a CU player amassed at least 400 kills in a season.

498- Total digs for defensive specialist Allie Davis which were the most for a Concord libero since 2017.

1,287- Team kills for the Mountain Lions which was only the fifth instance in program history totaling more than 1,200 kills.
