PAST WITH THE PIONEERS
Eight of the last ten contests between the Mountain Lions and the Pioneers have been decided by three runs or less dating back to the 2022 season. CU and GSU split the season series in 2022 with the home team sweeping the doubleheader in both meetings. Two of the four meetings in 2023 saw extra innings, as GSU prevailed 1-0 in eight innings at the Sue Morris Sports Complex. Three weeks later, CU walked off the Pioneers 1-0 in nine innings in Athens, with senior outfielder
Imani Campbell scoring the game-winning run. When the teams met at the CU Softball Field in March, Glenville State was victorious 4-1 in game one, but Concord won game two, 4-2. Stacy collected three hits in game two, while Raines drove in two Mountain Lions runs.
