SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Senior infielder
Chris Satcher of the Concord University baseball team has earned National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Regional Hitter of the Week honors, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
Satcher picks up the regional honor a day after being named Mountain East Conference Player of the Week. The West Palm Beach, Florida native was 11-for-21, a .523 average, at the plate over a six-game stretch that saw the Mountain Lions win all six games. He connected on five home runs and drove in 13 RBI while slugging 1.286. Additionally, he had at least one RBI in each contest.
Satcher started the week with three home runs versus Davis & Elkins, a single-game program record. He added a pair of home runs in Sunday's doubleheader sweep of West Virginia Wesleyan. Satcher had three multi-hit games that included a 4-for-4 effort versus D&E in the game following his three home runs.
Tuesday's announcement is the first time Concord has had a regional hitter of the week since Satcher was named to the award in March 2022.

CU is on the road for a non-conference Tuesday at UVa.-Wise. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
