KEEP THE STREAK
Concord extended its winning streak to 11 consecutive games with a four-game sweep of West Virginia Wesleyan Saturday and Sunday. CU outscored the Bobcats 34-14 in the series. Fifth-year senior infielder Zack Saryeldin matched Wesleyan's run total with 14 RBI in the series as he connected on three home runs, including a multi-home run game Sunday afternoon. On the mound, graduate pitcher Eddie Blake matched his season high with seven strikeouts in Saturday's game two victory while junior pitcher Rylee Nicholas established a new season high with nine punchouts in the Sunday's opener. The Mountain Lions' 11 straight wins is the second longest active winning streak in Division II behind West Chester's 17 consecutive wins. CU seeks to match its 12-game winning streak from last year that ran March 27-April 14.

TRIFECTA
Junior outfielder Demetri Jamison, Saryeldin and senior infielder Chris Satcher have paced the Concord offense as of late. Satcher has eight home runs in his last nine games and has tallied at least one RBI in 13 straight games. Saryeldin has at least one extra-base hit in eight of the last 11 games. And since the start of CU's winning streak, Jamison has bagged nine multi-hit games. Saryeldin is third in the Mountain East Conference in average (.423) while Satcher (.408) and Jamison (.390) rank fifth and nine, respectively. Satcher's 51 RBI pace the conference while Saryeldin sits second at 46 RBI. Jamison's 13 doubles are tied for first in the MEC. Satcher (11) and Saryeldin (10) are tied for second and third in the conference in home runs. Additionally, the duo is the first set of CU teammates with 10 or more home runs in the same season since 2013.

REBOUNDING FOR THE WIN
CU had lost four straight and five of the previous six games to UVa.-Wise before downing the Cavaliers, 12-3, March 5. Concord needed just 10 hits to defeat the Cavaliers as it also walked nine times in the game. Freshman outfielder Demario Faison and graduate infielder Daniel Layne were the only Mountain Lions with multiple hits in the game. Jamison, Layne and Satcher all drove in two runs. Of the five pitchers Concord used in the contest, four did not give up an earned run in the game, including junior utility MJ Hunter and freshman pitcher Mason Kisamore both tossing two scoreless innings. Hunter picked up his fifth save of the year Sunday, two away from tying the single-season program record for saves.
