RECORD WEEKEND
In a four-game sweep of Davis & Elkins Sunday and Monday, Concord set a bevy of program records. In the series opener, the Mountain Lions set a single-game program record with 31 hits as 10 different players had at least two hits. Concord knocked around 11 doubles to set a program record. Junior outfielder Demetri Jamison and fifth-year senior infielder Zack Saryeldin both had three doubles. The 44 runs that CU scored in the first two games of the series are the most since posting 44 in a doubleheader sweep of WVU Tech in 2001. Senior infielder Chris Satcher helped cap the weekend by homering three times in the third game of the series, becoming the first player to hit three home runs in a single game in program history. Satcher became the first CU player to homer five times in a series since Jordan Clark hit five home runs at Glenville State in 2017.

RECORDS PART II
Some program records were also set by the Concord pitching staff versus the Senators. Graduate pitcher Andrew Neff picked up his 28th career win Sunday afternoon as he became the winningest pitcher in program history. The MEC record for wins is held by Charleston's Austin Henrich (2017-21) at 31. In the second game of the series, fellow graduate pitcher Eddie Blake went over 200 career strikeouts as he struck out seven over six innings. He became the sixth pitcher in program history reach the milestone. Freshman pitcher Jake Robinson collected 10 strikeouts in the final game of the series to become the first CU pitcher with 10 or more strikeouts since junior pitcher Rylee Nicholas last season at Glenville State.
