ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University head softball coach Alyssa Morris has released the program's 2025 schedule as she announced Friday.

CU is scheduled to begin the season January 31 and February 1 against Carson-Newman and Kentucky State in Jefferson City, Tennessee. The non-conference slate runs up through March 15 when the Mountain Lions open Mountain East Conference play at Charleston. Concord will play 30 conference games in 2025.

Of the 30 MEC contests, CU plays 20 times against MEC South team and will oppose the MEC North Division in 10 games.

Non-conference highlights include Concord's home opener February 8-9 versus California (Pa.) at the CU Softball Field. The Mountain Lions will also be home February 14-15 versus Belmont Abbey and Walsh. From there, CU embarks on a month-long road trip that doesn't see the Maroon and Gray at home again until March 29-30 when they face West Virginia State and Charleston.

Among the road contests will be the annual spring break trip to Clermont, Florida March 7-11. Opponents have not yet been finalized in Florida.

April begins with a non-conference home doubleheader versus Emory & Henry April 3. The home stand continues April 5-6 against MEC North foes Wheeling and West Liberty. And the 12-game home stand concludes April 9 versus Glenville State.

Play against the MEC North wraps up April 12-13 and 18-19 when CU faces Frostburg State and Fairmont State to begin the road trip, and ends Easter Weekend at Point Park and Salem.

The 2025 regular season concludes April 25-26 with home dates against West Virginia Wesleyan and Davis & Elkins.
