CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team dropped its final regular season road game of the year, 4-2, against Charleston Sunday afternoon in a Mountain East Conference contest at the Welch Athletic Complex.
CU (10-6-1, 9-4-1 MEC) fell behind 4-0 through 42 minutes before senior defender
Leah Fleming got the Mountain Lions on the board eight seconds with left in the first half. The Arbroth, Scotland native converted a near 30-yard free kick into her sixth goal of the season.
Concord was able to hold Charleston (14-3, 13-1 MEC) in the second half as it continued to cut into the Golden Eagles' lead. In the 67
