ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer team put four players on the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Atlantic Region Second Team that was announced Tuesday morning by the organization.

Sophomore forward Syrus Conolly, junior defender Kai Forsyth, junior midfielder Malher Santi Possu and junior defender Ted Roberts were all recognized with Tuesday's announcement.

Conolly, a native of George Town, Cayman Islands, was CU's leading scorer during the season with 12 goals. Conolly is tied for 17th in Division II in goals scored. He played his best soccer at the end of the season where he scored in four consecutive games that included three straight braces with one coming against Davis & Elkins in the Mountain East Conference Tournament Semifinals. He opened the year by netting a goal in four of the first five games of 2024.

Forsyth is a repeat selection on the D2CCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team. The two-year CU captain anchored the back line that allowed 29 goals, a team goals-against average of just 1.30 per game. Forsyth also contributed to one of the most potent offenses in Division II as he scored two goals and assisted on four more. The Derby, England native finished third on the team in assists. Additionally, Forsyth is the first two-time all-region player in program history.

Only playing in 14 out of a possible 22 games, Possu still made an impact by netting 10 goals—second on the team—to go with three assists. From October 16 through November 13, the Cali, Colombia, native scored in five of six games that included his first career hat trick at Emory & Henry as well as a brace in a comeback win over Point Park at home. One of Possu's three assists came in the NCAA Tournament win over New Haven.

Roberts was one of the top scoring defenders in the MEC as he scored three goals and notched six assists which ranked in a tie for third in the conference. The Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines native was the only CU player to start in all 22 games at his left back spot. Two of the six assists for Roberts came against Charleston, one in an upset win November 6 and the other in the MEC Championship November 17.

Gannon's Sverre Orten was the Atlantic Region Player of the Year.
