In the first set of Friday's match against Charleston, sophomore defensive specialist
Allie Davis logged her 1,000
th career dig, becoming only the 11
th player in school history to reach the milestone. Davis is 13 digs shy of cementing her name in the Concord record book for the 10
th-most digs in program history. The Jonesborough, Tenn. native ranks second in the MEC and 50
th nationally in digs per set (4.88). In just two seasons, Davis has totaled 22 games collecting 20 digs or more including a career-high 29 digs twice. She has also contributed 35 service aces and 80 assists in two years at Concord.

THIRD TIME'S THE CHARM
Tuesday's meeting against Davis & Elkins will be the third time the Mountain Lions and Senators meet on the hardwood this fall. CU defeated D&E in the 2024 Concord Classic 3-0 and won the second meeting 3-1 in the Carter Center. Sophomore outside hitters
Meg Williams and
Chloe Thompson paced the Concord attack with 26 and 22 combined kills, respectively. As a team, CU has served a total of 19 aces and tallied 30 total blocks against Davis & Elkins in the seven sets played in 2024. Additionally, Williams and sophomore setter
Declyn Tooze recorded double-doubles against the Senators.

Before Friday's contest against Glenville State, senior middle hitter
Kyndra Pilant and senior right side
Reese Turner will be honored on Senior Night. If the season ended today, Pilant would rank eighth in program history in career hitting percentage (.206) and currently ranks 10th in program history for total blocks (263). Her career-best nine blocks came in the program's first ever win over Charleston in October. She hit for a career-best 21 kills in a road contest at Bluefield State in 2022. Turner transferred into the program before the start of the 2023 season and has played in 33 matches with 14 starts. The Rocky Mount, Va. native has compiled 18 kills, 18 digs, and 33 total blocks in the Maroon and Gray.

SCOUTING THE SENATORS
Senior outside hitter Reanne Debose sits in fourth in the MEC in kills per set (3.36) and led the D&E attack against Concord this season hitting for 28 kills in two matches. Senior defensive specialist Haylie Marumoto is fifth in the league in assists per set (7.47) and had 30 assists against CU in October. After only securing 2 blocks in the first matchup, the Senators blocked 14 Mountain Lions' attacks in the second meeting.

Junior right side Rita Kelly leads the GSU attack, averaging 2.86 kills per set and leading the Pioneers with 11 kills against CU in the Waco Center earlier this season. Glenville State also had five players record six or more digs led by junior defensive specialist Isabella Bailey with nine. Senior defensive specialist Bryanne Tustin is fifth in the MEC serving 0.46 aces per set.
