Concord-Davis & Elkins Contest Suspended Due to Lightning

BECKLEY, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer game versus Davis & Elkins has been suspended in the 67th minute due to lightning in the area Sunday evening at the YMCA Paul Cline Complex.

The game was also suspended due to curfew rules that stated the game can't be resumed after 6:30 p.m.

CU is leading the Mountain East Conference contest 1-0 on a goal in the 56th minute by junior midfielder Fabian Amhof, his goal was assisted by junior forward Armando Ramirez.

The game was three minutes away from being official as it needed to go 70 minutes to be deemed a completed contest.

The resumption of the game has yet to be decided, but an announcement can be found on cumountainlions.com when the release is official.
