ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University baseball team watched Emory & Henry score eight unanswered runs in a 14-6 defeat Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference game at Anderson Field.
The Wasps (5-10) raced out to a 4-0 lead after 1.5 innings, but CU (4-6) responded with a three-run second inning. Concord's first two runs came on an error from Emory & Henry that scored junior infielder

Kyle Keenan singled in sophomore pitcher/infielder
MJ Hunter.
Emory & Henry opened up a 10-3 lead through 2.5 innings and plated two more runs in the fourth.
Keenan homered in the bottom of the first to get within 12-4, but it was close as the Mountain Lions would get.
From the leadoff spot, Keenan went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Graduate outfielder
Josh Adkins and junior infielder
Daniel Layne each had two hits and an RBI.
Freshman pitcher
Evan Hosey (0-1) gave up three earned runs in two innings.
