In Concord's 17-8 win over Pitt-Johnstown Saturday afternoon, the Mountain Lions received 10 hits and eight RBI from its 6-9 hitters: junior infielder

Hunter Steel. Steel recorded a career-best four RBI in the victory while Christian tied his career high in hits with four, previously set against West Virginia Wesleyan last season. On Sunday, Steel produced his first career home run in a loss to UPJ while Christian added three hits out of the leadoff spot. Christian goes into Wednesday hitting .692 (9-for-13). Steel is batting .400 (6-of-15) and is tied for the team lead in RBI with six.
SOLID DAY
In game one of the Pitt-Johnstown series, Concord tallied 21 hits which marked the sixth time over the last three seasons that CU has notched at least 20 hits. Chris Satcher both had two-hit games. Satcher backed it up with a three-hit contest that included two doubles Saturday afternoon. Satcher's 0.8 doubles per game are tied for 13
th in Division II as he has four in five games.
RUNS AT A PREMIUM
When CU swept a doubleheader from Bluefield State February 11, the twinbill featured 11 total runs as Concord won 5-3 and 2-1. Both junior pitcher

Andrew Neff allowed just one run over five innings as they quieted the BSU bats. And even last year's two-game home-and-home series featured 19 runs. Satcher had five career RBI versus Bluefield State, including three in game one this season. Junior infielder
Zack Saryeldin homered off the Big Blues last season. Adkins has reached base safely in all five games he has played against the Big Blues, including a two-hit game earlier this season.

SCOUTING THE BIG BLUES
BSU has lost five straight games as it was swept in a three-game series versus Frostburg State over the weekend. The Big Blues were outscored 35-16 in the series. Cole Cote is batting .345 this season with a home run and six RBI. Zach Powell, who CU saw two weekends ago, is 1-2 on the mound, but has 15 strikeouts in 17.2 innings and a 2.04 ERA. Wednesday begins a five-game road trip for Bluefield State.
