BLOCK PARTY
In Friday's game against Fairmont State, Concord reached a new season-high for total blocks in a game with 14. Senior middle hitter Csayjah Whitelow set a new career-high with eight total blocks against the Falcons, besting her previous record of seven total blocks against Lees-McRae earlier this season. Two other Mountain Lions recorded new career-highs in total blocks as freshman middle hitter Meagan Poticher finished with six and freshman outside hitter Meg Williams tallied five. Senior middle hitter Kyndra Pilant assisted on six blocks in the contest, two blocks shy of her career-high eight blocks set against Emory & Henry earlier this season. Freshman outside hitter Chloe Thompson, freshman right side Natalie Brown, and sophomore right side Maddie Bohan all shared one total block.

WELCOME TO THE RECORD BOOK
While on the Mountain Lions' four-game road stretch, Williams cemented herself into the Concord volleyball record book. In Wednesday's match against King she picked up her 340th kill on the season, passing Holly Kimbrell's mark of 339 kills in 1999 that stood as tenth most in program history. After Friday's meeting against Fairmont State, Williams sits at 353 kills in her freshman campaign. She currently ranks eighth in program history for kills in a single season and four regular season games left to play. She ranks third in the MEC in kills per set (3.76) and second in the conference in total points per set (4.21).
