ATHENS, W.Va. - For a third year in a row, Inside the Numbers will be featured for all 16 athletic programs at Concord as their seasons come to a close.
The latest program to be featured is men's cross country as the team wrapped up a successful fall season, finishing 27
th at the NCAA Division II National Championship in November.
2- For just for the second time in program history, Concord qualified for the Division II National Meet. The first time came in 2016.
3- By finishing ninth at the Mountain East Conference Championship,
Logan Zuchelli became the third athlete in program history to be named MEC Freshman of the Year, and the second in the last three years.
4- Of the eight meets that the Mountain Lions competed in, CU finished fourth or better in seven of those. The Maroon and Gray collected a team win at the Concord Alumni Invite on October 8.
5- Senior
Issac Prather, who was an All-American and the Atlantic Regional Runner of the Year, won five individual races during the 2021 fall campaign.
9- Consecutive years of a top-three finish for CU at the MEC Championship
10- With Prather being named conference runner of the week three times in the fall, it marked the 10
th consecutive year that the Mountain Lions have had at least one conference runner of the week during the regular season.
26- The Mountain Lions had four different runners break the 26-minute barrier for the 8,000-meter course at Lehigh's Paul Short Run. Prather clocked the fastest time in program history on the course, 24:32. Zuchelli (24:59), sophomore
