SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Junior outfielder Kyle Keenan, sophomore infielder Zack Saryeldin and fifth-year senior infielder Anthony Stehlin of the Concord University baseball team have been tabbed to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association (NCBWA) All-Atlantic Region Teams, the organization announced Thursday afternoon.

Keenan and Saryeldin pick up their second all-region honor in as many days while Stehlin is named to an all-region squad for the third year in a row. Saryeldin was an All-Atlantic First Team selection at third base. Keenan was a second team pick in the outfield, and Stehlin earned a nod as an honorable mention reliever.

Saryeldin was a NCBWA All-Atlantic Region Second Team performer last season. This season, the Weston, Florida native hit .420 with five home runs, 40 RBI and a single-season program record 23 doubles. On the bases, he swiped 16 bags in 17 chances. His 23 doubles ranked in a tie for fourth in Division II this spring, and Saryeldin was among the top 25 nationally in batting average. Saryeldin had an average of at least .410 for the whole season, and the last time his average was below .400 was the third game of the 2021 season. Saryeldin had 26 multi-hit games in 2022, including nine games with at least two doubles.

As Concord's everyday left fielder, Keenan hit .372 with four home runs and 18 doubles as well as tying for the team lead in RBI with 48. The Fredericksburg, Virginia native had eight games of at least three RBI, including 10 RBI in a doubleheader against West Virginia Wesleyan April 16. He was among the top 10 in the Atlantic Region in RBI, and his 18 doubles are tied for sixth most in a single season at CU. Additionally, Keenan's two-base tally was tied for seventh in the region.

Stehlin, CU's starting shortstop in all 53 games this season, doubled as one of the best reliever in the region. Over 22 innings of work, Stehlin posted a record of 2-1 and an ERA of 2.86. He saved a single-season program record seven games while limiting opponents to a .259 batting average. The Woodbridge, Virginia native was not scored on in eight of his 14 appearances, and had a scoreless streak of 8.1 innings from April 2 through May 2. Along with setting the single-season record for saves, Stehlin also broke the career program records for saves which now stands at 16.

Millersville's Thomas Caufield was named the NCBWA Atlantic Region Player of the Year. Jared Marshmann of Bloomsburg was the Atlantic Region Pitcher of the Year. And Slippery Rock's Jeff Messer rounded out the year-end awards as the NCBWA Atlantic Region Coach of the Year.
