PREMIER MATCHUP
Wednesday will be a rematch of the 2021 Mountain East Conference Championship as Concord won 1-0 on a penalty kick in the 61^st minute from Yasmin Mosby. Wednesday's contest will be Frostburg State's third game this season as a nationally-ranked team as it checks in 17^th in the national poll. It will be the first time a Concord team faces a ranked conference since 2017 when the Mountain Lions faced No. 13 West Virginia Wesleyan. CU has won all three matches versus Frostburg State as MEC foes. Fifth-year senior forward Leah Foster scored Concord's second goal last season in the regular season meeting, and fifth-year goalkeeper Leah Marsh made five saves in a 2-0 victory. Senior forward Rachel Bell recorded three points in the 2019 contest as CU jumped out 3-0 on the Bobcats. In the three games, Concord has outshot Frostburg State 66-20.

RUGGED STRETCH
After facing Frostburg State, the Mountain Lions will have gone through their toughest portion of the 2022 schedule playing the top two teams in each division: Charleston, Fairmont State, Frostburg State and West Virginia State. After a 1-1 draw with West Virginia State on a goal from senior defender Zoe Belding, CU has lost back-to-back games versus UC and Fairmont State. Those four teams have a combined 28-7-4 record. After Wednesday, the remaining opponents on Concord's schedule have an 18-35-7 mark with only Davis & Elkins (5-4) having a winning record.

Toni Fiocco-Mizer is tied for second in the conference in goals scored with eight. Defender Catherine Smith has found the net five times. Smith and goalkeeper Ashley Bilger lead a stout Bobcats' defense that has only surrendered three goals this season, tied for second fewest in Division II. Carolyn DeSena is third in the MEC in assists with four.
