TOUGH FINISH
After playing nationally-ranked No. 21 Notre Dame Wednesday, Concord faces No. 6-ranked Charleston Saturday to close the regular season. Saturday will be the fifth time this season that the Maroon and Gray plays a nationally-ranked foe, Charleston and Davis & Elkins twice and Notre Dame once. This fall marks the most ranked teams CU has played in a single season, surpassing the 2015 season when the Mountain Lions plays Charleston when it was ranked twice. Notre Dame and Urbana were also ranked once when they played Concord. Freshman midfielder Joel Walker had two shots versus Charleston earlier this season when UC won 3-0.

RECORD WATCH
Junior midfielder Ricardo Chinea-Pegler has 15 points in 2022 ahead of the regular-season finale. With two more points Saturday, the Warrington, England native would crack the top 10 in program points for a single season. With two goals, Chinea-Pegler would also enter the top 10 in single-season goals at Concord. He has six goals this season to go with three assists. An upset of nationally-ranked Charleston would give the Mountain Lions a fifth win this season which would match the most since 2018.

TAMING THE GOLDEN EAGLES
In the 3-0 loss to Charleston at home at the end of September, freshman goalkeeper Tommy Smith notched eight saves. Along with Walker's two shots, freshman midfielder Jack Hughes, freshman midfielder Tomas Kelly and senior midfield Michael Shelor all had one shot in the game. Shelor also tallied a shot in last year's game season finale against Charleston.
