STATISTICAL INDIFFERENCES
Concord controlled nearly 60 percent of the possession in Sunday's game versus West Liberty and outshot the Hilltoppers 16-7, including 10-1 in the second half. ROAD TRIPPIN'
The Mountain Lions secured a 3-1 win last season on the road versus Wheeling. In fact, the road team has won the four games in the all-time series with the last home victory coming October 2019 by Concord at the YMCA Cline Complex in Beckley. Two seasons ago, Concord won in double overtime against Wheeling, 1-0, as current men's soccer assistant coach

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
WU currently occupies fourth in the MEC standings, four points ahead of West Virginia Wesleyan. Diego Buenano, who scored against Concord earlier this season, has a team-best six goals. Richard Afolayanka is right behind with five goals. The Cardinals have given up the fourth-most goals in the MEC this season with 36, and have a -12 scoring differential.
