MARIETTA, Ohio – The Concord University men's track & field team placed ninth at the Marietta Open Friday night at Marietta College's Dyson Baudo Center.
A 1-2 finish in the distance medley relay headlined the meet for the Mountain Lions.

Logan Zuchelli was 12 seconds back in second.
CU packed four runners into the top six of the 3,000-meter run. I. Prather was the runner-up as she came through in 8:50.82. Zuchelli clocked 8:57.00 as he placed fourth. P. Prather went under nine minutes as he stopped the timer at 8:59.72 to finish fifth. Drennen placed sixth, running a time of 9:01.96.
The 4x400-meter relay team of freshman
Prince Bhebhe, Gardner, Watty and Wilson clocked a time of 3:38.40 to finish fourth.
Individually, Watty came through in 4:34.44 in the mile run as he sported an eighth-place showing. Bhebhe sprinted to a time of 56.74 seconds in the 400-meter dash to place 13
th.
Concord returns to the oval January 21-22 at VMI's Keydet Invite.
