UVa.-Wise (3-7) took the match 25-21, 25-14, 25-21.

Set 1
Both teams made early runs as it was the Cavaliers that gained the first momentum of the match going up 14-11. But, UVa.-Wise closed the set by scoring four of the final five points.

UVa.-Wise jumped out to a 13-6 lead in the second game after a 5-0 run—already with a two-point edge. The Mountain Lions trimmed the deficit to five points, 15-10, but was unable to close the margin any further as it fell behind 2-0 in the match.

Set 3
