RECORDS

Emory & Henry sports a mark of 3-4.
Like E&H, Seton Hill has a record of 3-4 and will be playing its first home game of the season.
REPEAT PERFORMANCE
After a 14-kill match in her collegiate debut, freshman outside hitter
Hannah Steele returned on Tuesday night to notch 13 more kills against the WVU Tech. Steele's outings were in two five-set matches as the Mountain Lions and WVUT played a five-set contest for the fourth straight time in series history. Not to be outdone, fellow freshman outside hitter
Gracie Brackney made her college debut Tuesday night, and she also finished with double-digit kills at 11. Brackney and Steele are the first CU freshmen teammates with 10 or more kills in the same match since junior outside hitter
Hailey Buchanan and junior middle hitter
Amber Hall against Charleston in the fall of 2019.
CAREER NIGHT
Speaking of Hall, she tallied a career-best 21 kills and hit .475 in the match against WVU Tech. The Massillon, Ohio native is hitting .431 for the season which ranks in the top 15 of NCAA Division II. Hall's 3.0 kills per set are tied for sixth in the Mountain East Conference while Steele is just outside the top 10 in the MEC at 2.7 kills per set. Hall's 21 kills were the first 20-kill match in program history since
Ellie Lawrence on her senior night in 2018 against Glenville State. Sophomore setter
Kristin Lough and senior setter
Imani Rodgers combined for 54 assists as Lough set a career high with 26.
UNFAMILIAR FOES
The Mountain Lions' road trip sees them face teams that they have only played a combined 12 times in program history. Concord is 4-0 all-time against Emory & Henry who just became a Division II school—up from Division III—prior to this year. The latest victory over the Wasps for CU was a pair of wins during the 2012 season as Concord swept both matchups. The contest at Seton Hill will be a meeting of two former West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference counterparts. The last time the Mountain Lions played SHU was in a neutral-site, non-conference battle at Davis & Elkins in 2014 as the Griffins swept CU. Seton Hill leads the all-time series 8-0.
EMORY & HENRY AT A GLANCE
Three of the four victories for the Wasps have been in five sets including their most recent, on Tuesday, against William Peace. E&H also owns victories over Brevard and Young Harris. Hannah Watson is averaging over 10 kills per match and is hitting .369. Camden Harris also averages double-digit kills and sports a mark of .236. Abbie Hutzler leads the defense with just over four digs per set.
SETON HILL AT A GLANCE
After dropping the first three matches of the season, Seton Hill has rebounded to win three of its last four. Included in the victories was a five-set win over Fairmont State. Saturday's match starts a string of four matches out of five played at home for the Griffins. Kiersten Schade is second on the team with 70 kills and is hitting .327 in seven matches. Schade also averages a block per set. Mara Yahner is just off Schade's pace with 68 kills and a hitting percentage of .214.
