ATHENS, W.Va. – As Concord University begins classes Monday, August 16, the Concord University Sports Information Department wanted to share ways to keep up with the 16 athletic programs at CU throughout the year.
Currently, Concord has three social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter that combine for nearly 6,600 followers.
All game previews, scores, recaps and award releases are posted on Concord's Official Athletic Website cumountainlions.com. Schedules, live statistics and live video for games can also be found on the web. The releases are also pushed to Facebook and Twitter. Graphics are posted to Instagram and Facebook.
For Facebook, search Concord Mountain Lions Athletics to begin following. For both Instagram and Twitter, the handle or username is cumountainlions.
Additionally, Concord's Advancement Office includes all Athletic releases in their bi-monthly "Stay Connected."
Throughout the year, all home events are streamed through Blueframe Technology and Mountain East Conference TV. Games are then archived and can be watched anytime using the on-demand feature. The athletic department's channel is mountaineast.tv/concord or by searching "MEC TV" on your streaming smart device.
