RECORDS
After a 69-60 win over Frostburg State, the Mountain Lions improved to 4-3 on the season.

Notre Dame is 2-5 after a win over West Virginia Wesleyan Monday night, but NDC also lost on Wednesday to Glenville State on the road.

Fairmont State returned from a program pause Monday night as it defeated Alderson Broaddus, but lost to Charleston Wednesday putting its record at 4-2.

SEEING DOUBLE
In the victory over Frostburg State, junior forwards Mohamed Bundu and Da'Vion Moore both recorded double-doubles as the duo combined for 31 points and 20 rebounds. Bundu posted his second double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds) in three games while Moore tallied his first double-double (18 points, 10 rebounds) in a Concord uniform. It was the second time in as many seasons that CU has had two or more players go for double-doubles in the same game. Senior forwards Liam Evans and David Bea Mulumba along with Martin Kelly Jr. all had double-doubles at Fairmont State last February. The only other teammates in the MEC to have double-doubles in the same game this season are the Davis & Elkins tandem of Marcus Fleming and Breland Walton—also against Frostburg State—and West Virginia State's Jeremiah Moore and Anthony Pittman who have done it twice.

MORE OF MOORE
Moore posted career bests in both points and rebounds against Frostburg State. The Mount Clemens, Michigan native finished the game 9-of-10 from the field including hammering three dunks down on the Bobcats. Moore's 90 percent shooting was the highest in the MEC this season with at least 10 shot attempts, and his performance from the floor was the best for a CU player with at least 10 attempts since February 2015 when Aaron Miller hit 11-of-12 shots (91.7 percent) at Fairmont State. For the season, Moore is shooting 72.2 percent (26-for-36). In his three double-digit scoring games this season, Moore has shot 19-of-22.

ONE-SIDED REBOUNDING BATTLE
For a third straight game, Concord won the board battle as it grabbed 45 rebounds compared to just 26 rebounds for Frostburg State. In fact, Bundu and Moore's 10 rebounds each coupled with a season-best eight rebounds from senior guard/forward Malik Johnson outrebounded the Bobcats by themselves. The +19 advantage on the glass is the best for CU since outrebounding West Virginia State by 21, 47-26, November 2019. Concord's recent run on the glass will be put on the test against both Fairmont State and Notre Dame. CU's +3.9 rebounding margin for the season ranks third, just ahead of NDC's +2.7. Fairmont State is second in the MEC in rebounding margin at +4.8.

EQUAL VARIETY
Heading into play on Saturday, the Mountain Lions have eight players averaging at least seven points per game—the only team in the MEC with that distinction. In the fact, the only team in the MEC with seven players averaging seven or more points is Alderson Broaddus. Johnson leads the group at 15.7 points per game, but the seven other players are posting between 9.3 points and 7.4 points per game. CU has had five different leading scorers in seven games. Additionally, Concord has had eight different 15-point performances this season from five different players, including career highs from Johnson (25 vs. West Liberty), Evans (22 vs. West Virginia Wesleyan), Bundu (22 vs. West Liberty), junior guard Seth Brown (15 vs. West Liberty) and Moore (18 vs. Frostburg State).

FEBRUARY FRENZY
As the MEC regular season hits the final month, the Mountain Lions have historically played some of their best basketball under head coach Todd May in February. Overall, May is 64-61 in his five seasons at Concord, a winning percentage of .512. However, in February CU's winning percentage under May goes up to .633 as the Mountain Lions have posted a 23-13 record under May in February. In the four previous February's under May Concord has won six games three times and went 5-4 in 2019. Over the last four February's Concord is averaging 79.2 points per game in 36 contests.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
5- Three-pointers needed by Johnson to tally 100 for his career. Previously, 25 players in program history have reached the milestone.

13- Season high offensive rebounds in Saturday's win over Frostburg State.

18- Concord outrebounded Fairmont State by 18, 48-30, in a 79-71 road loss last season at Joe Retton Arena.

NOTRE DAME AT A GLANCE
The Falcons got back to action in style as they rolled to an 88-70 victory over West Virginia Wesleyan before the road setback at GSC. After starting the season 0-3, Notre Dame has won two of its last fours games with one of the losses coming by one point, 71-70, to Frostburg State on the road. Jordan Roland is averaging a team-best 16.8 points per game. Jordan Burton (14.3 points) and Tyland Crawford (12.8 points) also average double figures. Two of three games last year with Concord were decided five points or less, including CU eliminating the Falcons from the MEC Tournament with a 73-68 victory in the opening round of the postseason. Concord also won at the Carter Center last season, 79-76.

FAIRMONT STATE AT A GLANCE
Head coach Tim Koenig welcomes back a large portion of his team that qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season. Though the Fighting Falcons did lose do-it-all forward Kenzie Melko-Marshall, FSU has 2020 MEC Freshman of the Year Dale Bonner and all-conference guard Cole VonHandorf in the backcourt. The duo is averaging 35 points per game with both shooting near 45 percent from the field. Notre Dame College transfer Isaiah Sanders (17.3 points per game), Fairmont native Zyon Dobbs (11.4 points) and Shem Golek (10.4) also average double figures. Fairmont State has scored at least 85 points in four of six games, and in one of the losses—to West Liberty—scored 84 points.
