THE GRIND HOUSE
The Mountain Lions were able to extend their home winning streak to 17 games on Saturday by holding Charleston to nearly 30 points below its season average of 81.9 points per game. On the perimeter, freshmen guards Maddie Ratcliff and Jaisah Smith were the primary defenders on Brooklyn Pannell who was frustrated into a 6-for-27 shooting afternoon. The 59 points scored by CU were the fewest in a win since February 23, 2019 when it also scored 59 in a five-point win at Urbana.
