HITTING MACHINE
In Tuesday's sweep at Glenville State, the Mountain Lions hit a season-best .373 which was the fifth-highest hitting percentage in any MEC match this season and also the second highest in a conference-only contest. Steele enters Friday having hit at least .200 in seven of her last eight matches. Herron has 19 kills and just two errors in her last three matches which equates to a hitting percentage of .425. Tuesday night's performance was CU's highest hitting percentage in a match since September 2017, also against Glenville State.

BRINGING THE POWER
Concord has not allowed an opponent to record double-digit blocks this season—the closest was West Virginia Wesleyan with nine blocks in four sets. CU ranks second in the MEC in fewest blocks per set allowed, 1.47. This weekend, the Maroon and Gray faces two of the best blocking teams as West Liberty ranks second in the MEC in blocks per set (1.98) and Wheeling sits fourth (1.84). The Mountain Lions rank fourth in the MEC in hitting percentage (.195). Hall, Herron and Steele are all three just outside the top 10 in the league in hitting percentage with Hall's .284 leading the way.

WHEELING AT A GLANCE
Friday night will be the first time since 2011 that Wheeling isn't ranked when it faces the Mountain Lions. The Cardinals have been pressed to five sets five times already this season and are 4-1 in those matches. WU's .253 hitting percentage trails only West Virginia State in the MEC. Lexi Reinart and Lexi Smith are both hitting at least .290 this season and both have tabulated at least 130 kills . Former West Virginia High School two-sport standout (basketball and volleyball) from Magnolia, Maddy Winters, is hitting .313 this season with 130 kills.

WEST LIBERTY AT A GLANCE
Clayton and West Virginia State's Jenna Dufresne are the only two players in the MEC with at least 200 kills season. Clayton is hitting .310 this season to go along with her blocking prowess. Libero Nyia Setla is third in the conference in digs per set (5.53), just ahead of Concord senior Kelli Ellison (4.85). Katelynn Fritz has 140 kills this fall, but is hitting just .099.
