ON PLAYING MULTIPLE POSITIONS THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER
Growing up, my dad always told me that I needed to be able to play every position on the field. Because once you get to the (college) level, it doesn't matter there's always going to be someone just as good or better than you. You need to be willing to go try and play another position. My thought process was I'm going to do whatever to get on the field whether it be pinch-hitting, playing right (field), left (field), first, second or third. Whatever I could do to get on the field.
ON ALL-CONFERENCE SEASON IN 2019
My freshman and sophomore years I felt like I had slow starts at the plate. Last year, I felt like I started better than those two years. As the season went on, I felt like I was maintaining at the plate better than I had been. That's what really stuck out in my mind during my junior year.
