CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team earned a 1-0 win over Seton Hill on neutral turf at Schoenbaum Stadium Thursday afternoon in a non-conference clash to start the season.
Though Concord (1-0) owned a wide advantage, 14-3, in total shots in the contest, Seton Hill kept the Maroon and Gray out of goal until the final 10 minutes of the game.

In the first five minutes of the second half, Bell and Foster each had a look at the net. Bell's third shot on goal in the 66
thminute was saved by Seton Hill goalkeeper Elysa Pilatowski-Herzing. However, Bell's fourth shot on goal in the 83
rdminute beat Pilatowski-Herzing to push Concord out to a 1-0 lead. Wallace's assist set up the first collegiate goal for Bell.
Bell had half of CU's total shots in the game with seven. Foster and Mosby each had two shots in the contest.
Junior goalkeeper
Katie Maher made just one save in the contest to preserve the shutout and win.
The Mountain Lions travel to Salem 1:00 p.m. Monday.
