SALEM, Va. – The Concord University women's cross country team finished 10
that the Roanoke College Invite Saturday morning at Green Hill Park.
The Mountain Lions totaled 244 points and was the second Division II team in the placings.
Freshman
Gretchen Mills led CU on the 6,000-meter course as she finished ninth in a time of 23:35.
Senior
Aidan Payton was next through as she crossed in 38
thwith a showing of 25:40. Junior
Lindsey Cummings was 63
rdwith a time of 27:13. Sophomore
Kyla Marshall was 10 spots behind Cummings as she clocked a time of 27:43. Junior
Josea Smith completed the top five runners for Concord as she placed 89
th, stopping the clock at 29:10.
The Mountain Lions will run at the Queens City Invite in Charlotte on September 27 after a week off from competition.
