After dropping the first set to UC (9-19, 4-8 MEC), the Mountain Lions (10-18, 4-9 MEC) appeared to be in control of the second ga,e as they were up 17-12. However, Charleston rolled off a 7-1 run to take a 19-18 lead. Down 22-20, freshman middle hitter
Amber Hall came up with a kill before junior defensive specialist

One again, it was Concord racing out to a lead of 13-9 edge on three consecutive Charleston errors. The Golden Eagles did not go away quietly in the fourth game as they closed to within 20-18, but Hall, Herron, Huber had consecutive kills to force a decisive fifth game.
The momentum for CU was halted as Charleston jumped out to a 6-3 lead and never looked back in the fifth set.
