Concord Loses at Frostburg State

FROSTBURG, Md. – The Concord University men's soccer team lost a Mountain East Conference game on the road, 5-0, against Frostburg State Thursday afternoon at Bobcat Stadium.

FSU (5-6-1, 4-5-1 MEC) scored three goals in the first half to lead 3-0 at halftime before adding two more in the second half.

Concord (2-6-2, 1-6-2 MEC) had four shots on goal and nine shots total for the contest. Senior midfielder Courtney Skerritt had three shots while fellow senior midfielder Maxime Ramioulle added two shots. Sophomore forward Daniel Culverwell, Ramioulle, freshman forward Matt Shelor and Skerritt each had a shot on goal.

Junior goalkeeper Kyle Brown had three saves in the contest.

The Mountain Lions return home to face West Virginia Wesleyan 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Anderson Field.
