RECORDS
CU has put together seven straight wins—its longest streak since the 2011-12 season—and is now 12-3 overall and 8-2 versus league competition. Charleston is 14-2 this season and is 9-1 in the MEC. UVa.-Wise has a mark of 7-9 overall and is 5-5 against conference foes.

ROAD TRIPPIN'
After taking down both Wheeling Jesuit, 90-51, and West Liberty, 94-84, the Mountain Lions are now 4-1 in true road games this and have a fifth win away from the Carter Center, a neutral-court victory over Seton Hill in November. With seven games still to play away from home this season, CU has already matched its wins away from home from last season. In its five wins away from Athens, Concord is averaging 86.6 points per game which is nearly five points higher than its season average (81.9). Additionally, the Mountain Lions have scored at least 80 points in all five contests. The two road wins also gave CU its seventh and eighth conference wins of the season. Last year, Concord's eighth MEC win didn't come until February 17.

RECORD BOOK UPDATE
At West Liberty, sophomore forward Riley Fitzwater became the 12th player in program history to amass 500 rebounds in a career, but it took Fitzwater just 43 games to accomplish the milestone. In her time in the Maroon and Gray, Fitzwater has 513 rebounds and sits 23 rebounds away from jumping into the top 10. Elsewhere in the career record book, junior forward Madison May is approaching 1,000 career points. The Athens, West Virginia native needs 121 points to become the 17th member of the 1,000-point club at CU. Senior guard Emily Boothe isn't far behind as she has scored 860 career points. By making a career-high 17 free throws against West Liberty, May moved into 10th in all-time made foul shots at CU with 259. May is also 10th in free-throw percentage in her career at 70.6. For Boothe, she needs two three-pointers to become the sixth player in program history with 150 career triples.

SHOOTING GUARDS
Concord shot a season-high 58.6 percent at Wheeling Jesuit. Senior guard Andreanna Pool was 8-for-11 from the floor and 5-for-6 from three-point range—it was the third time this season Pool has made five three-pointers in a game. Freshman guard Gracie Robinson chipped in a 3-for-5 effort against Wheeling Jesuit. The strong percentage continued for the Mountain Lions' guards against West Liberty. Boothe went 8-for-10 from the field as she scored a season-high 19 points. Robinson added three more made shots on four attempts. Over her last five games, Boothe is shooting 62.9 percent (17-for-27) from the field. While Robinson isn't a high-volume shooter this season, she has a field-goal percentage of 51.3 (20-for-39).

SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE
By percentage, Concord and Charleston rank 1-2 in the MEC in both field goal offense and field goal defense. Ahead of Wednesday's game, UC has an edge of 48.7-48-6 in field goal offense. The Golden Eagles rank third nationally in field goal percentage while Concord is fifth. Raziyah Farrington is shooting the ball at a clip of 58.6 percent while Dionna Sanders has a field goal percentage of 59.3 percent. Meanwhile, Fitzwater continues to lead Division II with a field goal percentage of 69.7 percent. May is shooting 51.4 percent in 2018-19. Though both teams are efficient offensively, they are also stingy on the defensive end of the floor. Concord is holding opponents to a league-low 36.8 percent while UC is allowing foes to shoot just 38.0 percent. During its seven-game win streak, CU allowed just one team—West Liberty—to shoot over 40 percent.

SEASON SWEEP
The Mountain Lions had a pair of wins over UVa.-Wise last season as they first won 67-64 on the road before closing out the regular season with a 78-65 victory at the Carter Center. It was the first time CU had swept the Cavaliers since the 2013-14 season. May averaged 14 points and 9.5 rebounds in two games against UVa.-Wise and also had a block in the closing seconds of the road win to prevent a potential game-tying three-pointer. In both games last season, Concord's defense was stifling as it held UVa.-Wise to a combined shooting percentage of 34.2 percent (48-for-140) including limiting UVa.-Wise to 27.6 percent (21-for-76) at home—the lowest field goal percentage for a CU opponent over the last six seasons before Concord held Wheeling Jesuit to 26 percent shooting in last Thursday's win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
7- Winning streak for Concord is its longest since February 11-29, 2012 when it won seven games.

50- Number of rebounds for CU at West Liberty, its second-highest of the season.

78- Margin that CU is outscoring opponents in the second quarter this season (314-236). In the other three quarters combined, Concord has a +60 scoring margin.

CHARLESTON AT A GLANCE
The Golden Eagles saw its 13-game win streak come to an end over the weekend as it fell to Glenville State on the road. Included in the lengthy winning streak was an 82-57 win at Concord on November 28. Farrington is second in the MEC in scoring (22.3 points per game). In 16 games this season, Charleston has only given up 70 or more points four times, including a season-high 88 to Glenville State. UC has the second-best rebounding margin in the MEC at +4.6. The only team better is Concord at +6.1.

UVA.-WISE AT A GLANCE
Former Concord standout Jamie Cluesman is in her first season as the head coach at UVa-Wise. Cluesman's name is found several places in the CU record book including being the all-time leader in assists and steals. UVa.-Wise's assistant coach, Jacqueline Kestner, is also a familiar face to the Concord program. The Blountville, Tennessee native played at Concord from 2011015 where she ranks eighth in career rebounds (649) and sixth in steals (163). The Cavaliers have already surpassed last season's win total of six with seven victories. Cynita Webb is the lone UVa.-Wise player averaging double figures, but she also averages a double-double of 13.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.
