Concord Rolls By Glenville State, 12-0

GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team piled up 12 goals in Sunday's 12-0 win over Glenville State at Morris Stadium in a Mountain East Conference.

CU improves to 4-2-1 overall and 2-1 in the MEC in 2018. Glenville State is 0-8 overall and 0-5 versus conference foes.

The Mountain Lions had four different players score two goals on Sunday. Senior midfielder Delaney Crumblish recorded her second multi-goal game of the season with two-second half goals. Crumblish also had two goals versus Felician September 2.

Sophomore midfielder Sarah Hill notched her second career two-goal game with a goal in each half Sunday. Fellow sophomore midfielders Mira Kontio and Courtney Wallace also had scored two goals in the match. For both Kontio and Wallace, it was their first career multi-goal game. Both of Kontio's goals came in the first six minutes of the contest.

Freshman forward Leah Foster scored her team-best fifth goal of the season. Senior forward Pilar Elias had a goal and an assist in the contest to tie her with Foster for the team lead in points at 11.

Freshman forward Kaitlyn Kerrigan scored her second goal in three games with a second-half score, and freshman Olivia Medieros knocked in her first collegiate goal in the 62nd minute.

Sophomore goalkeeper Katie Maher and freshman goalkeeper Leah Marsh combined for a shutout of the Pioneers as they collectively made two saves.

The 12 goals for Concord matched the highest total in any Division II game this season, set by Palm Beach Atlantic—also against GSC—and Alabama-Huntsville versus Oakwood.

As a program, it was the most goals for the Mountain Lions since they scored 14 versus Salem International in 2009.

CU goes to Charleston 7:00 p.m. Wednesday
