BECKLEY, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer team lost 5-1 to Salem in a non-conference game at the Cline Memorial Complex Saturday afternoon.Â

Salem (3-4) jumped out early with two goals in the first 10 minutes to take a 2-0 lead on Concord (1-3-1). However, the Mountain Lions would get a score closer in the 29

Bruno Baptista curled a free kick in the upper left corner of the goal for his first collegiate score to cut the Tigers' lead to 2-1.Â

CU was only able to get one shot on goal—sophomore midfielder
Maxime Ramioulle's attempt in the 35
thminute--before Salem tallied its third goal in the 76
thminute. The Tigers added two more goals in the final 14 minutes of the contest for the final margin of victory.Â
