Concord is 11-12 overall after a setback against Fairmont State Saturday.

NON-CONFERENCE SUCCESS
After dropping its first non-conference game of the season to Clarion, the Mountain Lions have won their last four games outside of the Mountain East Conference.

Senior guard
Danielle Catron is averaging 15.6 points per game in the five non-conference contests this season including pouring in a career-high 30 points at Bluefield State January 29.

Senior forward
Heather Chapman has excelled in non-conference games as well by averaging 12.2 points per contest.

Meanwhile, freshman forward
Riley Fitzwater has scored 54 points (10.8 points per game) and collected 54 rebounds (10.8 per game) in five games.

PERIMETER DEFENSE
Despite losing to Fairmont State, CU held the Fighting Falcons to 1-for-21 from three-point range (4.8 percent).

The last time Concord held an opponent to one or fewer makes from three-point range was two years ago when both Winston-Salem State and West Virginia State each only made one three-pointer against the Mountain Lions.

Since the start of 2018, Concord has only allowed two opponents Shepherd (January 4) and West Liberty (February 3) to shoot better than 35 percent behind the arc.

ROAD WARRIOR
Senior guard
Lindsey Overbey has recorded some impressive numbers away from the Carter Center this season.

Three of Overbey's four double-digit scoring games have been on the road, and 105 of her 164 points this season have been scored on the road including a career-best 28 points at West Liberty.

The Gate City, Virginia native is averaging 9.5 points in true road games in 2017-18.

Concord racked six more blocked shots against Fairmont State with Fitzwater turning away five shots and sophomore
Madison May also notching a block.

The Mountain Lions brought their season total to 134 for the season which the fourth most in a single season for a team in the MEC.
Â
CU needs 26 more blocks to set the program's single-season record for blocks.
Â
Fitzwater has 87 blocks this season while May has contributed 23 rejections.

OTHER RECORD WATCH
Although Concord has been held under its season average of 76.3 points per game in the last two contests, the Maroon and Gray is 0.1 points per game away from tying the single-season record.

The 2011-2012 team averaged 76.4 points per game which is the highest total since Concord became a Division II school 23 years ago.

DAVIS & ELKINS AT A GLANCE
The Senators and CU have just one mutual opponent, Salem International. D&E won both regular season meetings over SIU while Concord took an 81-61 win over the Tigers on January 15.
