RECORDS
The Mountain Lions are coming off a 13-16 season that saw them tally their most wins since the 2011-12 season.
LHU was 5-21 last season as it lost to Concord 73-68 at the MEC-PSAC Challenge.

BEST OF THE RETURNERS
Concord welcomes back its two leading scorers this season with the return of sophomore forward
Riley Fitzwater and sophomore forward
Madison May. Last season, May had a breakout season as she averaged 16.1 points per game. Fitzwater went for 13.9 points per game.
Of the 10 returning leading scorers in the Mountain East Conference, May is fourth and Fitzwater is eighth. Only Concord and West Liberty have two players ranked in the top 10 of the top returning scorers in the MEC.
Additionally, Fitzwater and May sit first and fifth in field goal percentage of those returning in the conference. Fitzwater led Division II in field goal percentage last season as she shot 70.9 percent (178-for-251) from the field. Meanwhile, May was above 50 percent at 50.8 percent (156-for-307). As a team, the Mountain Lions finished the season eighth in Division II in field goal percentage, shooting 46.5 percent last season.
MILESTONE WATCH
Senior guard
Emily Boothe starts the season 250 points away from 1,000 for her career. If the Riner, Virginia native were to play in all of CU's 28 regular season game, she would need to average 8.9 points per game—or just a bit above her career average of 8.6.
As a freshman, Boothe netted 8.9 points per game, went for 10.3 points per contest as a sophomore and averaged 7.0 points per game last season. Boothe starts the season with 193 assists and 136 made three-pointers. When Boothe reaches 200 career assists and 150 made triples, she will join Shari Walker (2004-2007) as the only Concord player with at least 200 career assists and 150 made three-pointers.
CLEANING THE CLASS
The Mountain Lions finished the 2017-18 season by collecting 40 or more rebounds in five straight games and eight of their last nine contests.
Fitzwater led the way with four double-digit rebound games in her last five contests of last season.
In the final road game of the season, May notched one of her six double-doubles last season as she pulled down 12 rebounds against West Virginia State.
Meanwhile, senior guard
Andreanna Pool matched her career best with six rebounds versus Notre Dame College in the game that started the streak of 40 or more rebounds in five consecutive contests.
The Mountain Lions had the second-best rebounding margin in the MEC last season of +4.1.
FRESH START
Last season, Concord went 1-1 at the MEC-PSAC Challenge hosted by Fairmont State. CU was narrowly clipped by Clarion 73-66 before downing Lock Haven 73-68.
Fitzwater excelled in her first two collegiate games as she recorded two of her 21 double-doubles to start the season. The Glenville, West Virginia native had 20 points and 13 rebounds versus Clarion and 10 points and 10 rebounds in the win over Lock Haven while going 14-for-18 from the field over the two games.
May came off the bench in both games to average 13 points and 4.5 rebounds.
In her first two games in a CU uniform, Pool scored 13 points and nine points while tallying 10 total rebounds.
NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN
When Concord faces Seton Hill Saturday afternoon, it will be the first time the two old West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes meet since the 2013 WVIAC Tournament.
CU traveled to Seton Hill to play the Griffins in the first round of the conference tournament where SHU won 78-65. The two teams have only met seven previous times with Seton Hill holding a slight 4-3 edge in the series.
Meahwhile, Friday afternoon will be the third all-time contest between the Mountain Lions and Lock Haven. The teams also played at Fairmont State in 2016-17 with the Bald Eagles winning 62-53.
LOCK HAVEN AT A GLANCE
Rileigh Devine is the top returning scorer for LHU as she averaged 10.9 points per game in 2017-18 to lead the Bald Eagles.
Lock Haven went 0-2 at the MEC-PSAC Challenge last season as it also lost to host Fairmont State, 76-62.
Even though it only won five games last season, LHU had four other games that resulted in losses decided by nine points or less.
SETON HILL AT A GLANCE
The 20-win season by the Griffins in 2017-18 was the first 20-win campaign since the 2010-11 season when they made the WVIAC Semifinals.
SHU had three double-figure scorers a season ago, but only return one in Cheyenne Trest who averaged 14 points per game and also dished out just under three assists per contest.
Seton Hill averaged 73.1 points per game, but only outscored its opponent by 5.4 points per game.
In total, 13 of the Griffins' 30 games were decided by 10 points or less.
