ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University volleyball team plays its finale regular season matches when it travels to West Virginia State 7:00 p.m. Friday followed a 2:00 p.m. match at Charleston Saturday.

RECORDS
The Mountain Lions are 7-23 overall in 2018 and 3-11 in the league.
West Virginia State is 23-10 and has a mark of 8-6 versus MEC foes.
UC enters the final weekend of the regular season with a record of 14-16 and is 9-5 in the MEC.
MOUNTAIN LION NOTES
CU picked up a five-set win over UVa.-Wise on Tuesday after the Cavaliers forced a fifth set with Concord up 2-0 early on.
Of the last 10 matches the Mountain Lions have played, eight have gone to either four of five sets dating back to CU's October 10 match versus West Virginia State at the Carter Center.
Junior setter
Jenna Mounts notched her third double-double of the season in the victory over UVa.-Wise as she tallied 22 assists and 15 digs. The digs were a season high for the Houston, Ohio and one shy of tying her career best.
With the performance, Mounts moved past Tomi Dement for seventh in all-time assists at Concord and also tied Helen Thiesen for sixth as she picked up her 1,300
th career assist at UVa.-Wise.
Senior outside hitter
Alexi Pranckus continued to close in 1,000 career kills with 13 kills against UVa.-Wise. It brings Pranckus' career total to 984. The Tinley Park, Illinois native had eight kills versus Charleston earlier this season and notched three kills against West Virginia State.
Before traveling to UVa.-Wise, the Mountain Lions played two matches at Wheeling Jesuit as it faced the Cardinals and Virginia State in a triangular.
Against Wheeling Jesuit, freshman middle hitter
Sheridan Herron had a career-high 10 kills.
CU grabbed a four-set win over Virginia State to avenge an earlier loss in 2018 to the Trojans.
Senior middle hitter
Brooke Heck paced the effort for Concord with 11 kills and a hitting percentage of .625. In 11 matches during the month of October, the Huntington West Virginia native has hit .400 or better in six matches.
Freshman right side
Camryn Huber tied her career best with eight kills versus Virginia State while also recording six blocks. Huber is eighth in the MEC in blocks per set at 0.95.
In the first meeting versus West Virginia State this season, WVSU won in four sets as two of the four games were decided by two points—each team won a set 25-23. Senior outside hitter
Ellie Lawrence led Concord with 14 kills.
The Mountain Lions also played a four-set contest with Charleston at the Carter Center. Lawrence was the leader in kills for CU in that matchup as well as she had 10 kills.
WEST VIRGINIA STATE AT A GLANCE
Jenna Dufresne had 29 kills for the Yellow Jackets in their win at Concord this season. Dufresne is 10
th in the MEC in kills per set at 3.01.
Gabrielle Bullock is fifth in kills per set in the conference at 3.66.
West Virginia State leads the MEC in opponent hitting percentage, limiting teams to .124.
CHARLESTON AT A GLANCE
Carly Granger leads the offensive attack for the Golden Eagles with 3.76 kills per set, third best in the MEC.
Granger had 20 kills and 10 digs versus the Mountain Lions earlier this season.
UC swept both Glenville State and West Virginia Wesleyan in its most recent matches.
