ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University women's soccer team picked up an 8-0 victory on Senior Day Sunday afternoon against Glenville State at Anderson Field in a Mountain East Conference contest.
The Mountain Lions improve to 9-4-2 overall and 7-3-1 in conference. The Pioneers are 0-16 overall and 0-12 conference.
Five of Concord's players were able to secure at least one goal in the match up. Freshman forward
Leah Foster crossed a ball to senior forward
Pilar Elias to score the first goal in the ninth minute of the contest. Elias secured a total of two goals within the first half of the match.

Delaney Crumblish assisted Elias with a goal while scoring her own in the first half.
CU carried a 3-0 lead into the halftime intermission.

Yasmin Mosby with the fourth goal for Concord in the 47
th minute of the contest. It was Mosby's first goal of the season.
Foster picked up the pace of the second half in the 76
th minute when she found the net for her sixth career goal.

Sarah Hill was able to score three goals in the last ten minutes of the contest by being assisted by fellow sophomore midfielder

Alyssa Mahar, and Mosby. Sunday was Hill's first career hat trick.
Concord's defense was protective of the goal for the match allowing sophomore goalkeeper
Katie Maher to make one save for the shutout against the Pioneers. CU recorded its seventh shutout of the season. Maher and freshman goalkeeper
Leah Marsh each played a half for the Mountain Lions with Maher getting the start.
Glenville State's two goalkeepers collectively made 18 saves.
CU travels to Urbana for its final road game of the season 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.
