RECORDS
CU carries a two-game winning streak into the game and a 6-7 overall mark.

Salem International is 4-12 this season, having lost its last two games.

FINDING THE PAINT
The Mountain Lions scored 62 points in the paint in their 90-63 win over West Liberty on Saturday.

Concord had eight different players scored at least one bucket inside the lane with sophomore forward Madison May scoring 16 of her game-high 27 points in the paint.

Freshman forward Riley Fitzwater and senior guard Lindsey Overbey each had 12 points in the paint.

Saturday's 62 paint points tied a season high with the previous mark coming against West Virginia State December 2.

BALANCED EFFORT
CU had five players finish in double figures for the game.

After May's 27 points, Fitzwater scored 15 points, Overbey and junior guard Andreanna Pool each added 12 points while senior forward Heather Chapman accounted for 10 points.

It marked the second time this season the Mountain Lions had five double-figure scorers with the other occurrence coming versus Glenville State December 5.

GET IT OUT OF HERE
Fitzwater has accumulated three straight double-doubles. On Saturday, Fitzwater added 13 rebounds to go along with her 15 points.

However, in the last two games the Glenville, West Virginia native has flirted with a triple-double. Against Wheeling Jesuit, Fitzwater had 22 points, 26 rebounds and nine rebounds.

The freshman post player followed it up with a 15-point, 13-rebound, eight-block effort against West Liberty.
Fitzwater has 52 blocks and has amassed 27 blocks over the last four games. Additionally, she is on pace to break the single-season blocks record at Concord of 73.

50 PERCENT
Against West Liberty, the Mountain Lions shot 55.9 percent (38-for-68) from the floor.

Chapman, Fitzwater, May and Overbey all shot at least 50 percent from the floor in the win.

It marked the third time this season that CU has made at least 50 percent of its shots in a game—the other two times were at West Virginia Wesleyan and versus Bluefield State.

Additionally, the last time Concord shot 50 percent from the field three times in the same season was during the 2014-15 campaign.

NON-CONFERENCE SUCCESS
The Mountain Lions have won two of three non-conference games this season with victories coming against Lock Haven and Bluefield State.

Chapman (12.6 points per game) and May (15.6 points per game) are each averaging double figures in non-conference games this season. Meanwhile, Fitzwater is averaging a double-double of 11.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game in games outside of the Mountain East.

Senior guard Danielle Catron scored a season-high 23 points against Bluefield State in a non-conference game. The Marion, Virginia native needs three points to reach 1,000 for her career.

SALEM INTERNATIONAL AT A GLANCE
The Tigers have played three other MEC teams this season with losses coming against Fairmont State and Urbana.

However, SIU did defeat West Liberty 65-59 on December 30.

Keishia Gilmore is the leading scorer for SIU at 16.8 points per game, but is shooting just 40 percent from the floor.
