CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Concord University men's soccer team lost 4-0 to the number-one ranked team in the nation in the University of Charleston Thursday night in Mountain East Conference play.
Charleston scored three goals (3-0, 1-0 MEC) in the first 35 minutes of the game to grab an early lead in the contest. The Golden Eagles added a fourth score in the second half.
The Mountain Lions (0-2-1, 0-1 MEC) recorded three shots on goal. Senior midfielder
Alex Rhodes came off the bench with two shots on goals while sophomore forward
Sam Ashton tallied the other.
