SOUTH EUCLID, OHIO - The Concord University women's basketball team fell 97-50 on the road to Notre Dame in Mountain East Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
Concord drops to 7-19 (5-15 MEC) on the season, while Notre Dame improves to 13-12 overall with a 12-8 mark in conference games.
After the Mountain Lions briefly took an 8-6 lead on junior guard
Lindsey Overbey's layup with 4:51 left in the first, the Falcons rattled off 17 straight points to take a 23-8 lead heading into the second period.

Courtney White brought the Mountain Lions within 14 with 4:59 in the second half to make the score 36-22, but a 6-0 run from the Falcons helped NDC restore a 20-point lead and eventually take a 45-24 lead into halftime.
NDC continued to convert shots in the second half to win 97-50.
Overbey notched double figures for CU, scoring 11 points and adding five rebounds. Sophomore guard
Emily Boothe added seven points and seven rebounds. Senior guard
Olivia Morgan dished out seven assists.
Concord returns home to face Charleston on Thursday. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
