RECORDS
CU has won its last three games and sports an overall record of 6-3 and an MEC mark of 4-1.

WVWC picked up its first win of the season by downing UVa.-Wise 71-70 Wednesday night. The Bobcats are 1-8 overall and 1-4 in the MEC.

Virginia Union is 4-5 this season.

LOCKDOWN
During Concord's three-game winning streak, the Mountain Lions are averaging 85.6 points per game, but CU is getting it done on the defensive end of the floor.

Concord held Charleston to 43.1 percent shooting, West Virginia State to 42.9 percent and Glenville State to 39.4 percent.

It was the first time the Mountain Lions held an opponent to less than 40 percent shooting from the floor since last December in a 90-53 win over Bluefield State at home.

Overall, it was the best three-game stretch in limiting shooting percentages since CU's three-game run to the MEC Championship in 2015-16 when it combined to hold UC, West Liberty and Notre Dame to 37.0 percent from the field.

This season versus UC, West Virginia State and GSC, CU held those three teams to a combined 41.7 percent.

At home, Concord held Glenville State to 4-for-23 from three-point range or 17.4 percent.

It was the third time this season the Mountain Lions limited an opponent to less than 25 percent shooting from three-point range.

The last time CU pulled off that particular feat was during the 2014-15 season.

Concord has allowed just 19 makes from three-point range in the last four games.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY
Concord came away with a season-best 10 steals in the win over Glenville State and forced 17 turnovers.

Senior guard B.J. Hamlet and freshman forwards Antonio Patterson and Trey Shuff paced the Mountain Lions with two steals each.

Prior to Tuesday night, CU hadn't had three players with multiple steals in a game this season.

In fact, the only times Concord had two players with two or more steals were junior guard Tommy Bolte and Hamlet at Winston-Salem State, and Bolte and sophomore forward Trey Brisco versus Bluefield State.

The Mountain Lions hadn't had double-digit steals in a contest since last season's home finale versus Charleston.

FAIR SHARE
CU had four players score in double figures against Glenville State.

Bolte led the group with 22 points. Freshman guard Darian Peterson chipped in a career-high 19 points on 8-for-10 shooting. Hamlet and Patterson each added 15 and 10, respectively.

It was the first time the Mountain Lions had four players in double figures since last season at Notre Dame.

Additionally, Concord handed out 20 assists on 32 made baskets versus GSC.

The 20 assists were a season high with four players recording at least three assists.

Bolte had a team-best five with Hamlet, Patterson and freshman forward Jyles Webster each tallying three.

MOVIN' ON UP
By making four three-pointers against Glenville State, Hamlet moved into a tie for 13th on the all-time made triples list at Concord with 139.

The Roanoke, Virginia native is tied with Cedric Ganaway. To get to 12th, Hamlet needs 15 more three-pointers to tie Damien Tunstalle.

On the career assists at CU, Bolte needs 16 assists to jump into the top 25.

The Chillicothe, Ohio native has 168 career assists.

Over his last two games, Bolte has recorded 14 assists.

BALANCE IN BUCKHANNON
Of the last five meetings between Concord and West Virginia Wesleyan on the Buckhannon campus, the Bobcats have won three and CU has grabbed two wins coming consecutively during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.

The only two players to appear in a game inside the tight quarters of the Rockefeller Center are Bolte and Hamlet.

The Mountain Lions have shot 50 and 49 percent in last two trips to West Virginia Wesleyan, but last season the Bobcats drilled 52 percent of their shots in a 78-60 win.

Concord won 65-64 two years ago on the road.

STEPPING OUT OF MEC PLAY
Concord and Virginia Union meet for the second consecutive season.

Last year's game was the first all-time meeting with the Panthers.

The Mountain Lions had five players in double figures, however, Bolte and Hamlet were held scoreless in a 95-78 loss to VUU.

Virginia Union shot 54.7 percent (35-for-64) from the floor in the win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
4- Concord will be seeking its fourth road win of the season. CU didn't get its fourth road win of last season until February 16.

11- Hamlet has made at least one three-pointer in 11 consecutive games dating back to last season.

30.6-  Three-point percentage for CU's opponents, lowest in the MEC.

WEST VIRGINIA WESLEYAN AT A GLANCE
The Bobcats earned their first win of the season by holding UVa.-Wise to 32.4 percent shooting in the contest.

West Virginia Wesleyan also had a commanding 55-45 edge on the board in the win, but committed 21 turnovers.

Troy University transfer Aaron Ariri leads WVWC in scoring with 12.2 points per game.

Reigning MEC Freshman of the Year Luke Layhew is averaging 9.7 points per game.

The Bobcats are the best defensive rebounding in the MEC, grabbing nearly 73 percent of opponents' misses this season.

VIRGINIA UNION AT A GLANCE
The Panthers are 4-5 this season, but took nationally-ranked Shippensburg to overtime and fell to Wheeling Jesuit who is also among the nation's ranked teams on a buzzer beater by WJU's Preston Boswell.

CU and Virginia Union have one common opponent in the early season.

VUU knocked off Winston-Salem State 87-67. James Paige leads the Panthers in scoring at 12.8 points per game with Kory Cooley close behind at 12.5 points per game.

VUU is holding teams to 39.4 percent shooting from the field this season.
